As part of our Engage Programme the children have all had a lovely time participating in Relax Kids over the last couple of weeks with Principal Miss McGarrigle. The children had the opportunity to dress and walk like astronauts and move like shooting and falling stars. Followed by affirmations of what kind of different stars we all were, before finishing with a period of deep relaxation, being still and quiet. On another day we were Giants from Jack and the beanstalk, walking around with big giant footsteps. We all chose our own type of bean and embraced our differences. With a lovely lie down in the quiet with a blanket to finish. A wonderful time for the children to relax, take some time out and embrace the quiet and stillness. We can’t wait to see where our relax kids takes us next time.
