The whole school was privileged to have a special visitor on Tuesday. Eileen Kearns the sister of our dear departed Fr John Kearns came to visit the school. She informed us that our very special Mass on the Grass was the last public mass that Fr John said publically. She wanted to visit our school and meet the people and place that meant so much to her brother. It really was a lovely visit, we prayed the memorare together and spoke of our fond memories of Fr John. We presented Eileen with a small token of thanks for visiting us and a picture of our school and Fr John at the mass. Eileen was kind enough to present each of the pupils with an Easter egg and the staff with some chocolates.
