This morning, our Principal, Miss McGarrigle delivered a farm safety talk to the whole school. The pupils learned about obvious dangers like been around farm machinery and the hidden dangers , including the potential danger of an open pits' slurry fumes. The pupils had lots of feedback and the hot topic was the PTO shafts and washing their hands! Farms are wonderful places for our rural children to roam about and that is why these reminders are vital to keep them safe.
